Keith Bonham MBE, DL, FCA
Keith Bonham is director or trustee of several charities and not-for-profit organisations involved in education, the environment, hospice care, sport and youth work. He is also Deputy Lieutenant for the County of Bristol. Keith is a retired chartered accountant with a 35-year professional career spent with Ernst and Young where he was Managing Partner from 1984 to 1992. Naturally, his retirement present was a bicycle.
David Evans DPhil, FFPH, MA, BA, RGN
David Evans is Reader in Applied Health Policy Research at the University of the West of England. He is a lifetime cyclist, and committed to cycling not just for its health and environmental benefits but for also for the sheer fun of it. His interests include working to tackle inequalities in health and promoting participation in health care and public health. He was formerly Director of Community Development and Public Health at Bristol North Primary Care Trust.
Carol Freeman MBE
Carol Freeman was a professional fundraiser for twenty years, including periods as Development Director of Friends of the Earth, Sustrans and the Soil Association. She was awarded an MBE for services to cycling in 2000. She is a former economist and mathematics lecturer.
Sarah Mowl
Sarah Mowl is an independent market researcher and marketing consultant. She works with a wide range of commercial and not for profit organisations throughout the UK. Prior to that she worked in advertising. She is a keen cyclist and takes full advantage of Bristol's hills and London's fast flat roads when whizzing around on business - always beating those in cars!
Bob Smyth (Chairman) BSc Econ Hons, Solicitor, FSALS
Bob Smyth is a partner in the Bristol-based national law firm Burges Salmon LLP. He was the firm's senior partner until 2007 and specialises in commercial property and land law. He is a key external adviser to the Crown Estate . He founded and and is honorary chair of the firm's environmental law unit, now one of the most highly regarded in the UK. He is a keen cyclist and cycle tourist and has ridden from sea to sea and from end to end in recent years. He was appointed HRH Ambassador for Business in the Community in 2008.
Elizabeth Williams
Elizabeth Williams is a Public Involvement Manager for Bristol Primary Care Trust. She has worked in the NHS, in Public Health and Primary care, for over 20 years, before that she was a secondary school teacher. She works with the public and patients to find out how they think services can be improved . Elizabeth is a keen cyclist and, after her children, she would save her Brompton folding bike, if the house were on fire.
